Welcome to a little slice of sunshine - The Yellow Comb Hair Studio! I created The Yellow Comb as a place where stunning hair meets good vibes — a bright, happy space where clients can relax, feel seen, and leave feeling their absolute best.
With years of experience behind the chair, I’ve learned that a great salon experience is about more than just hair — it’s about connection, confidence, and care. My goal with every client is to create a look that feels natural, effortless, and true to you.
The name “The Yellow Comb” is inspired by my favorite color and reflects everything I love: sunshine, positivity, and the little details that make people smile. Every corner of the studio is designed to feel cozy and uplifting — a spot where you can unwind, enjoy good conversation, and walk out glowing inside and out.
Whether you’re coming in for a fresh color, a full transformation, or just a little self-care time, The Yellow Comb is your home for beautiful hair and happy energy!

Hi!
I’m Nicolle, owner and stylist at The Yellow Comb. I started my career in marketing, but after a few years in the corporate world, I realized my heart was somewhere else — behind the chair. I’ve always loved creativity, connection, and helping people feel good about themselves, and doing hair brings all of that together for me.
My specialty is lived-in color — soft, natural looks that grow out beautifully and fit your lifestyle. I love creating hair that feels effortless, sun-kissed, and perfectly you. My goal is always to make sure you leave the salon with color that makes you feel confident and fresh, without the stress of constant upkeep.
When I’m not in the salon, you’ll find me hanging out with my dog Cruella, surrounded by flowers (especially yellow ones!), or dreaming up my next adventure!

Kayla brings over 8 years of experience behind the chair and a true passion for creating beautiful, healthy hair. She specializes in lived-in color, seamless dimensional blondes, and maintaining the integrity of your hair - believing that great color always starts with healthy strands.
Whether you're looking for a subtle, low-maintenance look or a bold change, she takes the time to listen, educate and customize each service to fit your lifestyle and hair goals. Kayla's approach is thoughtful, modern, and results-driven - making every appointment feel both relaxing and exciting. She's thrilled to be a part of The Yellow Comb and can't wait to welcome you into her chair.
In her free time, Kayla enjoys spending time with her dog, Faith, hanging out with friends and family or cozying up to watch the next best crime show... the more suspense, the better..
